Concealed Carry - Drawing From a Holster

Intended for those new to drawing from the holster, students will receive 2 hours of classroom instruction followed by live fire exercises at a local range. In the classroom, students will learn the mechanics of holster draws, different carry positions and their advantages and disadvantages. After practicing the draw under non-live fire conditions, students will adjourn to a local range to translate these skills into live fire practice.
This class is NOT intended for those new to firearms. Students who have questions about their handling and shooting fundamentals are encouraged to contact Scorpion Defense.
REQUIRED GEAR:
Students MUST bring their preferred FIREARM, HOLSTER, and a minimum 1.5 inch BELT to class.
NO SERPA holsters.
Strong side or appendix carry holsters ONLY (NO shoulder holsters, ankle holsters, crossdraw, or bra or elastic holsters).
300 rounds of ammunition - student supplied
If you have eye and ear protection, please bring them. If not, your instructor can provide these at no additional charge.
For safety, please wear high-necked or collared shirts and closed-toe shoes.
General Policies:
Range fees are NOT included in the class fee.
No refunds without prior notice.
With prior notice, student may reschedule one time at no charge. Class credit must be used within 90 days of the original class date.
Please arrive on time. Notify the instructor if you must be tardy. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late without notice may be admitted at the discretion of the instructor.
Federal law requires all participants to be one of the following: a U.S. citizen with valid photo ID (driver’s license, Real ID, or U.S. passport); a naturalized citizen with valid photo ID; a Permanent Resident with valid photo ID.
