Union Station - Concealed Carry Package (DC, VA, UT, FL)

This course meets the training requirements to apply for Concealed Carry permits in DC, VA, UT and FL. The course will consist of a minimum 14 hours of classroom instruction and a minimum 2 hours of live fire training. In the classroom, students will learn fundamentals of firearm safety, ammunition, storage, and practical considerations of concealed carry. Using SIRT guns, students will practice handling and marksmanship, including: loading and unloading, grip, stance, trigger pull and eye dominance. In addition to learning the laws related to concealment, students will learn what constitutes self defense, the importance of mindset, conflict avoidance, less lethal options, what to expect in the aftermath of a self defense situation, and more.

*You do not need to own a firearm to take this class.

Please be aware that not all applicants are eligible to receive these permits.

Class Requirements:

Range fees are NOT included in the class fee.

200 rounds of ammunition - student supplied

For safety, please wear high-necked or collared shirts and closed-toe shoes.

Students may wish to wear a belt for some exercises.

If you have eye and ear protection, please bring them. If not, your instructor can provide these at no additional charge.

General Policies:

Scorpion Defense can supply a firearm for training or qualification at no additional charge. All ammunition used in Scorpion firearms must be purchased from Scorpion or purchased at the range at the time of use.

Federal law requires all participants to be one of the following: a U.S. citizen with valid photo ID (driver’s license, Real ID, or U.S. passport); a naturalized citizen with valid photo ID; a Permanent Resident with valid photo ID.
